Community Capacity Building (with Lars and the Real Girl?)

I’m going to a workshop on Community Capacity Building on Thursday. Our pre-workshop homework is to watch Lars and the Real Girl. It is a movie about a reclusive, socially inept fellow who buys a “life-sized, anatomically correct sex doll” which he treats with great respect as a real person. The whole town starts to treat “Bianca” as a real person too with interesting results. I’ve enjoyed the movie and will be fascinated to see how it is used in the workshop.
