This is a wonderful example of a simple community engagement strategy. The ABC has an initiative called Dreambox where they invite Indigenous Australians to share their dreams in a single photograph. At recent NAIDOC celebrations in Toronto last month, ABC 1233 did a live broadcast from and set up a small booth where local community members could have their photo taken with their dreams and hopes.
It was a simple, but effective, way of giving voice to local people. How else could you use a strategy like this?
